Love is...

Love is caring for someone like no one has ever cared for you,
It's the unspoken bond between sun and the moon,
It's the sweetness like a cherry upon an ice cream sundae,
It's the harmony in a pianist's work,
It's the coexisting sense of the yin yang symbol,
It's the excitement of a new rollercoaster,
It's the pure happiness of doing fantastic on an exam,
It's the warmth spread between holding hands,
But most importantly,
It's feeling like without that person,
Your life just wouldn't be complete

Charolette's Web Blog Post- #3 Templeton

Much controversy is aroused when the question being asked "Is Templeton the rat a hero or a villain in Charlotte's Web?" In Charlotte's Web, I believe he was the hero, because he saved Wilbur from being slaughtered by collecting words for Charlotte to spin into a web. He also, in Wilbur's request, took her eggs sack back when she was dying and couldn't do it herself. At times he seems like a villain because he was always wanting something in return for the deed of collecting words for Charlotte. Yet, I believe he was a hero, rat or not. :)

A Day No Pigs Would Die #1

I have a Shih Tzu dog named Sadie. I've had her for about 4 years now and she's like another best friend. She never goes to bed without me putting her in there myself. I play with her whenever I can and whenever she rolls over, I almost have to scratch her stomach. At times she is definitely more of a friend than a pet, but I still love her. :)

Point Of View Story; TOM! :D

It's 8:15 in the morning and I'm chilling in the hallway with Leslie. Sarah is over there staring at herself. She's kind of creepy. Oh no, she's staring at us now! She doesn't look too happy. Ouch ! People are constantly running into me! This hallway is so crowded. I know she wants me to ask her to homecoming but she's so creepy! Maybe I'll just ask Leslie, but that could cause drama. Leslie is so much prettier, and she simply has a better personality. Sarah on the other hand reminds me of my mother. So controlling! This is so confusing. Sarah looks so mad, but I like Leslie! Who should I choose? I don't want Sarah to make Leslie miserable just because I ask her to homecoming. It seems like my best choice would be to not choose anyone. Maybe I'll just go alone!

The Car Accident and the Cackling School Teacher

'It was a rainy, cold October night when the local football team went for an annual joyride. This night was a first for newbie James Weller. He squeezed into the huge 4X4 Ford truck with six of the other guys. Bouncing down the road they all went, piled into five different cars. Davey, captain of the team, decided to have a little racing tournament between the cars. James knew how high the risk was and what had happened in the last town. Yet wanting to fit in he kept quiet and rode with Davey. Davey was the only guy he trusted behind the wheel since he hadn't had a drink. The race was on, twisting and turning and sliding went the car. They popped the hill and saw and an old man in the headlights.  The car swerved and missed the old, limping man, saving his life. The car hit the near by maple tree and flipped.' "The end of this story can not be recalled because both boys died instantly. It is still believed that today these boys haunt that very road causing accidents every rainy October night." Said the old, limping school teacher.
"That's not true! Ghosts aren't real!" screamed the fourth grader.
"Just wait and see," cackled the school teacher.

An Outsider's View

In the book, Of Mice and Men, Crooks, a black stable-hand with a crooked back, is treated unfairly because of his lower status. He is constantly threatened but cannot stand up for himself, mostly because he understands what the men can, and will, do to him. Once I was an outsider as well, and was treated slightly different than everyone else. The feeling I got was sad and lonely, like no one wanted to be around me, and it made me feel like "the group in control" thought they were better than me. Turns out they weren't, and that's all that mattered.
